Where:
Red Vespa - Wellington

Study Group

Description

We've already had one successful CBAP Accelerator Programme this year and we're about to kick of another one. .

An intensive thirteen week programme of study led by two of New Zealand's Certified Business Analyst Professionals (CBAPs), Marian Cameron and Martin Coomber. Marian and Martin will tutor the Study Group through a series of weekly tutorials and self study modules, as well as passing on some tips and tricks on how to pass the CBAP exam. With targeted weekly learning outcomes that will enable you to pass the CBAP exam within the next fours months, this programme is a must for any Business Analyst who intends on taking their CBAP certification in 2010.

"In terms of the credibility the certification provides, for someone involved in analysis consulting and training, the benefits are obvious. However, I also found there was an unexpected, additional benefit, in that studying the BABOK forced me to view the business analyst role from a different perspective: a different way to break down and understand the various disciplines." Craig McLean, CBAP

The CBAP Accelerator Programme is based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and CBAP Certification Study Guide by Richard and Elizabeth Larson - a copy of these documents are highly recommended for passing the exam.

The next CBAP study group will be starting on 13/7/2010.  There has been a lot of interest in the programme - we already have had 17 people, to date, who have expressed interest.  We can only handle 10 people per study group, so we will make our best endeavour to ensure that these places are allocated to people who are genuinely interested in sitting CBAP.

Interested people will be contacted soon to let them know that we will be allocating places to the next study group on the following basis:

1.  CBAP application has been accepted by IIBA
2.  CBAP application is with IIBA awaiting approval
3.  CBAP application is in progress
4.  Person has 7500 hours but has yet not prepared application
